- Warming-up
The warm-up has a general and specific part in the most optimal situation. The general part is used to increase body temperature and heart rate. In the specific part it would make sense to include a number of squat variations, for example, if you have to squat really hard later in the training. The specific part therefore requires exercises that contribute to your warm-up but that are specific to the training you are going to do. The specific part also helps you to prepare mentally and neurologically for the upcoming exercise(s). - Mobility
Sitting still for a long time, but also exercising itself, can cause stiffness in joints and muscles. More freedom of movement in muscles and joints reduces the chance of injuries and makes movement easier. Exercises can be performed better and this may provide a greater training stimulus. Which in turn could lead to more results. At Body Based we recognize the importance of mobility and we will pay sufficient attention to this during the training. - Workout
This is ultimately what the training is all about. Depending on your goals, this can be strength training, endurance training or a combination of both. Various training methods can be applied here, such as progressive overload, HIIT, VO2Max and many more. One thing is certain, the training you follow at Body Based is scientifically substantiated. - Cooling-down / Closing
Although there is little scientific evidence for an effective cooling-down, it can be mentally very nice to relax and let the body relax. At Body Based we also give you all the space for this.
It is important that you feel good during the training, so wear sportswear that you feel comfortable in. Put on your favorite sports shoes and bring a bottle of water and a towel. We will take care of the rest.
